The Ghost Zone was as eerily disturbing as it had always been when Skulker flew through with Danny in tow, encased inside of a ghost net he couldn't phase out of. Not that he would even want to use his abilities because that would be far too embarrassing. Word spread quick around his enemies, and they certainly wouldn't ever let him live that down. The bounty hunter wore his usual thick metal armor that posed as an outer shell. Danny knew that there was just a weak, gooey little man inside of the tough exterior. The transport through the vast and empty space, with the exception of a few floating doors and some stray islands here and there, Danny was tossed on the hard rocky floor of a cave on Skulker's personal island. The teenager grunted and sat up, eyeing the ghostly kidnapper.
"Seriously, Skulker. I don't have time for this today!"
Danny protested in an annoyed tone of voice.
"Oh, you're hurting my feelings. No time for old Skulker?"
He grinned sadistically, rummaging through a trunk for something important. Eventually, he pulled out a metallic device that looked to be a collar with green lines all over which reminded him of the gadgets his family invented.
"What is that...?"
The ghost-human hybrid started to crawl backward, unable to escape the net that restricted his abilities.
Skulker didn't give a response, slicing him free and slamming the device around his neck.
"I've had Technis reverse-engineer one of your machines. Instead of deterring ghosts, it zaps humans. You won't be able to hide from me, welp!"
He grinned that same evil smile with his oddly sharp teeth.
Danny felt an immediate surge of pain coarse through him, causing his nerves to burn with pain.
The teenage ghost screamed, falling to his knees and deciding the only way to alleviate the pain was to transform, no matter how degrading, it was better than this.
That same neon bluish green ring lit up around him and shifted into two, spreading out to his limbs, transforming his legs into shapely thighs, him to a her, her flat chest into a very well endowed torso of female proportions, her face and hair shifting to that of the most popular girl at Amity High. It was as if someone had given Paulina Danny's powers.
Skulker lost his grin for a very confused and blank face at his now very much female prisoner. Before he could make a statement of reaction, however, Sam and Tucker came flying in driving the Fenton Cruiser, running the bounty hunter into the wall with it.
Sam's voice shouted from the cockpit. Danny hurriedly flew in and sealed the door behind her, Sam backing out and shifting gears to shoot themselves away from the island and to safety.
Danny sighed, blushing slightly at the sound of Paulina's voice instead of her original male tone.
"Woah... Sam, you weren't kidding! Paulina really does have ghost powers!"
Tucker peaked back from the front passengers' seat next to Sam.
Danny gave a confused look to Sam, who looked in the rear-view mirror and gave her a look that said "play along."
Later, inside of Danny's bedroom, Tucker had been sent on a search for an A-S-H Receiver by Sam to buy some time so they were alone again. An A-S-H Receiver being an ash tray, but it sounded high-tech and important enough.
"Why aren't you changing back?"
The goth girl asked the ghost girl.
"I... I can't. Skulker put this anti-human collar around my neck and if I change back it'll zap me."
She sat on her bed, putting her delicate features into her dainty, gloved hands as she wondered what she would do about this.
"Okay, so how about this... If it's set to only zap your DMA, then how about we have you posses the real Paulina. It's Summer and no one would notice if you were always out of the house. I'll put a wig on that Tucker robot. Your parents won't know the difference."
Sam formulated a rag-tag plan from the situation given.
"What...? Posses her...?"
Danny looked up, her neon green eyes meeting her goth friend's purple irises.
"It's fool proof! Well, you and Tucker have done some very dumb things... But you get the idea."
Sam tells him in reassurance.
"Fine... But not for a second will we stop looking for a way to fix... this."
She gestured to her very prominent bust, that was only accentuated by the tight jumpsuit.
Danny phased out of her room and flew off above the sprawling city of Amity Park, the bright lights illuminating the night. This was her city, the one she swore to protect. No matter what obstacles may stand in her way. Even if she was stuck like this forever, she wouldn't stop. That accident in the lab was no accident, it was an act of fate.
Paulina was inside of her room, enjoying her alone time. Most likely texting one of her friends that weren't as popular as her as she wore her pink nightgown and lay on her bed.
"Here goes nothing..."
Danny thought to herself, going intangible and flying straight into the back of her target. She blinked a phew times, Paulina's body gasping and her eyes blinking green once and then blinking back to normal. She cringed, assuming she would be zapped, but there was no color on the body.
Looking down at her manicured nails and her prominent cleavage, Danny mused that this wasn't the worst situation she'd ever been in. At least she got a front row view of the hottest girl from school. The only downside was she now was that hot girl. This would undoubtedly prove to be one of the tougher damage Danny would face.
"Look out, Amity Park... Here comes Paulina Phantom."
Danny smirked Paulina's glossed lips at the view of the city.
